The playscape behind the church offers endless opportunities for building, imagining, and creating with friends. A nearby fire pit allows for an outdoor classroom space where we can share ideas, cook food, tell stories, and read books.
Once out of the playscape, trails lead all over the rest of the forest, taking explorers on new adventures every day! We are so lucky that bordering our space is public land owned by the MN DNR going all the way down to the French River. This allows us to move unhindered through this magical landscape, playing in it and watching as it changes through the seasons. Outside of our forest, Lake Superior is right down the road, allowing us to venture to the nearby beach for further exploration and learning!
